Dartmoor Beeswax Candles

These candles are made locally, by hand. Robert's hand, to be precise. He gathers the wax from his own hives on the moor and hand-dips the candles. They are deeply honey scented and have wobbly, uneven sides. No two are the same, although they all aspire to be at least 18cm long, and are 1.5cm in diameter. Burn time - more than a few suppers, by candlelight.

Colours range from a dark mustard to a creamy gold, depending on the time of year and the particular hives that the wax is collected from. Pair with our candle holder for a wonderful gift.

Sold in pairs, attached by the wick.
