Shipping policy

Shipping fine bone china around the world is a tricky business, especially without using any plastic. We wrap everything carefully with specialist paper bubblewrap and use an Eco void fill (made from 100% non-GM starch) to fill in the gaps. We only use DHL to send our goods out into the world - they are very reliable and the service is fully tracked from the moment it leaves the workshop to the moment it's signed for. We endeavour to ship out all orders as soon as possible, but working in the middle of nowhere makes this quite tricky - all orders will ideally be shipped out the day after they are received, but please bear in mind that this is not guaranteed, so if your order is urgent please email us at enquiries@feldspar.studio to let us know. If your order is placed on a Friday, or over the weekend, your item should be shipped by following Tuesday.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

 

*Please note! From the 1st January 2021 we are unable to collect VAT for sales within the EU but local taxes will need to be paid directly to DHL before delivery. As our goods are all handmade in the UK, additional duties should not apply*

 

For international orders, we use DHL Express. Prices are dependent on weight, volume & destination and are automatically calculated at checkout. If sending to somewhere outside of the UK then UK VAT at 20% is deducted from your shipment but you will be liable to pay local taxes or duties specific to each country direct to DHL - these are not included in the shipping charge. If you do not pay these your order cannot be delivered, so please double check your own local taxes before ordering, we are unable to estimate the total amount of taxes or duties that may be due at time of delivery as these differ from country to country. For questions regarding customs fees we suggest contacting your local government. All international orders are considered final sale once shipped and are therefore ineligible for refund or exchange.
