Each has a handmade fine bone china base, cast more thickly than the pendants to provide a sturdy anchor for the beautiful handmade pale blue grey linen shades, made in Bath by the very talented Eloise Scotland.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe shade shape was devised by her for our lamps and is based on some of her Grandpa's ceramic collection - each is fully lined in cotton lawn from Lancashire with a single Cobalt blue strut hidden inside. They is a corresponding blue line of embroidery on the outside sewn using the main stitch pattern for lampshade making, Streetly stitch - the single contrasting line both inside and out mirroring the contrasting lines on our ceramics.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach lamp has a hand-carved brass dimmer switch, handmade by Jeremy in our Devon workshop, and is supplied with a bright red braided flex cable and brass lamp holder.
