Shipping fine bone china around the world is a tricky business, especially without using any plastic. We wrap everything carefully with Geami paper bubblewrap and use Eco void fill (made from 100% non-GM starch) to fill in the gaps. We endeavour to ship out all orders as soon as possible, but living in the middle of nowhere makes this quite tricky as our local post office is not open every day. All orders will ideally be shipped out the day after they are received, but please bear in mind that this is not guaranteed, so if your order is urgent please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know. If your order is placed on a Friday, or over the weekend, your item will be shipped the following Monday.
We use both DHL and Royal Mail to post our goods within the UK - each item is carefully boxed and wrapped to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition. We charge £4 for Royal Mail 48hr, or £5 for Royal Mail 24hr service. Please note that these are just the names Royal Mail gives their services - they are not guaranteed to arrive in 24 or 48 hours, so if you need something urgently please choose special delivery shipping or DHL.
For international orders, we use only DHL. Prices reflect their rates, which are dependent on weight, volume & destination. Please note that you may be eligible to pay local customs or duties specific to each country: these are not included in the shipping charge. Please remember that all our items are handmade and therefore they can all vary very slightly, but if you wish to return or exchange an item please notify us at email@example.com as soon as possible.
If you are unhappy with an item for any reason, it can be returned or exchanged provided it is returned in its original packaging and that both are in perfect condition. Subject to stock availability, we will exchange items that are returned to us within 14 days of being received by you. Please advise us upon receipt of your purchase if you wish to exchange. Please note that all extra postage costs incurred in an exchange are payable by you. If you wish to return your item and receive a full refund items need to be posted or couriered back to us within 14 days of being received by you. Please obtain proof of postage, or send using a tracked service.
Returns of faulty items will only be accepted if the goods were faulty when delivered to you. We wrap and pack all our objects very carefully, and check everything thoroughly for any faults before sending out. If an item arrives damaged, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing through the details and photos of the damage to firstname.lastname@example.org. The item will need to be returned and will be replaced if a replacement is in stock and available, otherwise a full refund will be given. Faulty goods must be returned to us within 7 days of being received by you.
Please note refunds to Debit/Credit Cards normally clear in 1/2 days. Refunds to Paypal can take up to 30 days and are subject to Paypal refund regulations. Returns and exchanges received outside the above time frames will not be accepted. For all returns you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the products to us.
